Back in August,
The Nester used beadboard and hot glue to temporarily cover the backsplash in her kitchen:
At the time I thought the idea was brilliant. Like the Nester, we are renting our current home. And although mauve was super awesome in the early 90's, I am not really loving it now:
I didn't plan to do anything with it, because we were only going to rent short term, but the plan is now to add another year to our lease. I don't know that I want to look at that tile for 17 more months.
Yesterday I stumbled across this picture from

She was inspired by The Nester and used hot glue to cover her tile with beadboard wall paper. So I think I might give it a shot. What do you think? Hot glue anyone? Any other suggestions?
