Spiral Clock

How fun would this clock I saw on Shak In Style be in a game room:

The clock turns and the ball moves along with the time.  When it hits 12:00 the ball drops through the whole and rolls back to 1.  You can even pick different designs, colors, and have the ball drop through the hole at a time other than 12:00. 

So in my imaginary game room I could have the ball drop through at 7:00 when it is time to stop playing and get ready for bed.

Clock Cake Plate

Junk Fest turned an old clock face:

Into a cake plate:

Which worked perfectly for her New Year's Eve party.

At target right now there is a really cute Valentine's themed tiered plate.  What I love the most about it is that it comes apart.  I am pretty sure with the right size drill you could transform a lot of melanin plates (or clock faces in this case) into serving dishes, and then take it apart for easy storage or to change out the theme.

This would have been so much easier to explain if I had taken a picture of it at Target!  I might have to swing back by and pick one up now.  Who doesn't need an interchangeable dessert plate.

Spider Clock

Chris from Just A Girl shared this cute spider clock over at eighteen25:

The vinyl webs and plastic spiders make a great Halloween accent.  And I love how she displayed it with an easel instead of hanging it on a wall.

Tick Tock, Nancy Made Her Own Clock

Once upon a time (back in February) I found this clock:



And I dreamed of making it with family pictures instead of scrapbook paper. My husband loved the idea. And we looked for frames and thought about pictures. And then something happened and like many other things it got pushed to the one of these days but not today pile.

Now somewhere far far away, Nancy had the same dream. And unlike me, Nancy is not a slacker. So Nancy actually found the frames, the clock hands and the pictures and made herself a clock:


And I am actually glad I waited, because I think I am going to steal her cute quote idea! LOVE IT!!

She even took the pictures a step further and the number of people in each picture corresponds with the number on the clock. Way too crafty!

Book Clock

She took an old book and turned it into a clock! What a fun idea for decorating a kids room! Or a cute clock for a library! And I am thinking that it would be a perfect teacher gift, especially for the school librarian!
