Halloween Milano Cookies
I love Milano cookies. They are 100 times better when you stick them in the freezer. And they are 100 times cuter when you turn them into ghosts:

Paper Plate Halloween Crafts
Pickup Some Creativity made this cute skeleton:
which got me thinking about all of the other fun Halloween crafts you can make with paper plates. I think the most common is a pumpkin:

Even a cat:
Your kids could have hours of fun and then you could string them all up and make a garland!

Pizza Pops
I am pretty sure my son is going to need these for dinner:
The Decorated ookie put these cute little pizzas on a stick, as if we needed to give my kids any more reasons to love pizza! And I am about dying over the possibility of putting one of these mummy pizzas on a stick:

Yummy Mummy Treat Cups
Amanda from Crafts by Amanda emailed me a link to these really cute yummy mummy treat cups that she made:
It wasn't until I read the email twice that I realized they weren't from her blog, but from Kaboose. It took me another second to realize that Amanda is the lady behind most of the fun craft ideas at Kaboose. And if you have ever visited the site you know there are a LOT of fun idea!

You can get the directions here and make a ton for just a few dollars.
We have already finalized the details of this years Halloween party, but with a little girl who has a Halloween birthday, I see a LOT of uses for these fun cups in my future!

Spooky Ornaments
This post should really be titled I am too impatient not to post about my crafty project and too lazy to take a picture with my good camera. See previous post for details.
Long story short, I sort of forgot the mod podge step (um...OOPS) and wasn't happy with how the paint came out on my ornaments. So I went for a combination of the two crafts. And this is what I got:
And this one was my favorite. For some reason the black paint worked really well. So I covered a couple of them with googley eyes and added them to the mix.
I have them all strung together on black ribbon and plan to hang them as a garland as soon as I can figure out what my husband did with the staple gun.
So today (yesterday) I had a craft day with my in laws. Also known as an excuse to get together and have my mother in law make us tuna sandwiches for lunch. Everyone else wanted to make these cute mummies from Martha:

The mummy, but ornament style. I painted the ornament black, wrapped it in torn pieces of muslin that I secured with a little mod podge, and then used a hot glue gun to stick on the eyes.
A ghost. This was used to hide an extra hideous paint job. I cut a circle out of the muslin, cut a hole in the too to string the ribbon through, and hot glued the eyes.

Mummy Gum
Nancy from Acorn Cottage posted these REALLY cute treats she found at a craft fair:
They are all really cute, but the pack of gum wrapped like a mummy is MY FAVORITE! And how easy. rip some paper (or light fabric) into strips and then glue them around the gum wrapper. Glue on a couple of googley eyes and you have a VERY cute mummy!

Then glue the ends down and use a paper crimper to make the fun edge. If you don't have a crimper, find someone you know that has scrapbooked for 10+ years and I PROMISE they will have one!

Spooky Mallows
These marshmallows from The Decorated Cookie are cute:

I think I need an apothecary jar full of decorated Halloween marshmallows! If you are going to serve them as a treat you need to use a Gourmet Food Writer or the likes, but if you are just going to use them for decorations, like stringing them together to make Halloween tinsel, you could use a sharpie. Just make sure everyone knows it isn't edible!
