Photo Growth Chart

Tiffany from Lemon Tree Creations posted a tutorial for this cute Growth Chart Ruler:

It is super cute, but my favorite part is how she marks everyone's height:

She attaches their photo!  What a great scrapbook it will become and a beautiful decoration for your home.  I love it!  You can see the tutorial for the growth chart HERE.

Growth Chart

There is something almost romantical (yes, I know that isn't a real word) about marking your kids heights on the inside of the pantry door. The only problem is that when you pack up your house and move to Texas you can't take your pantry door with you.

I knew I should have made a cute growth chart on a long 1x6. Or, used this cute idea from Becca at Blue Cricket Design and used an old cabinet door:

I know what my first project is in the new house.

Growth Chart

I take back everything I ever said about not posting anymore chalkboard projects!!! I felt like I had posted too many, so I thought I would wait for a bit before posting anymore. But you know what happens when you say that! I found the CUTEST ideas! And they just kept coming!

Like this one from Katie at Clean and Classic Interiors:

See it to the left over there. She actually posted this picture on her blog to show off the storage for her dog food! It is really cute too! But that chalkboard growth chart!! I need it!

But she bought it at Pottery Barn a while ago. It is metal, so she suggested painting a piece of sheet metal. I might go for a 2x6 and paint it with magnetic chalkboard paint. She also suggested using this pen:

so that you can write the numbers and they will look like chalk!!

Can you die from chalk dust inhalation? Because I think we are going to have an unsafe amount of chalk dust in my house after I complete all these chalkboard projects!!
