Shoe Growth Chart from Real Simple
I lived in the same house from the time I was one until the day I got married. I even lived at home during college. It has always been my dream to let my kids grow up in the same house. I wanted to have a doorway where I marked their height as they got older. One that would get faded and dirty, but would never be painted over.
But in the next year we will be moving into our fifth house. Each one of my children was born in a different house. So I don't have that door jam. And that is why I am in love with this idea from Real Simple. This shadow box holds a shoe growth chart. A way to track their size and keep a little piece of their cuteness.
Do you have a growth chart? What do you use?

Super cute!! Such a good idea.
EEEEEEE! Where was this idea 6 years ago?? Don't tell my kids, but I'm still going to do it & just replace shoes I've tossed with fakes from the thrift store.
This is really cute! Only problem here is that my kids shoes NEVER look that good after they're done wearing them. ;)
That is adorable.
What a cute idea!
Katie, I got rid of all of The Boys things before we moved and now I wish I hadn't!
Polly, I would definitely have to use their church shoes. They are treated a little nicer and not worn nearly as much! ;D
What a great idea! Going right into my 'to do' list!
