Chocolate Dipped Christmas Pretzels

One of my favorite treats to make for Christmas are chocolate dipped Christmas pretzels.  They are easy, perfect for the kids to make, and are a great treat to include with your neighbor gifts.

Snowflake Pretzels

Mom Endeavors made the cutest snowflake treats from pretzel sticks and white almond bark:

She patterned them after the spider web snacks that she made for Halloween:

I will be adding both to the list of treats I make next year!

Chocolate Pretzel Bites

I spend a lot of time looking for new blogs to add to my Google Reader.  But I never look for new reciep blogs.  And it isn't because I don't like them.  I LOVE them.  I probably love baking more than crafting and decorating.  But I don't look for blogs because I know my sister-in-law will tell me about all of the good ones.

And yesterday she did just that.  She emailed me a link to these beauties over at Framed Cooks:

Chocolate Pretzel Bites.  These puppies have peanut butter pretzels dipped in chocolate and then drizzled with more peanut butter and rolled in peanuts.  That is about as close to perfection as you can get in my book.  I am thinking I might dip them in caramel before I dip them in chocolate so that they are a replica of  Take 5 bar.

These would be perfect for a party or a gift for the neighbors if I could keep myself from eating all of them.

Caramel and Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

I am a fan of making and eating chocolate dipped pretzels around the holidays.  They are relatively inexpensive and a good filler to a holiday goodie tray you give your neighbors or work buddies.  If I am feeling super eager I will even dip them in caramel and then chocolate.

By super eager I really mean only when my oldest sister is helping.  She is the best person in the world to make treats with because she does the dishes while you do all of the fun stuff like dipping and decorating.  ALL of the dishes.  So the messy melted caramel in the pan, it has disappeared before the caramel even dries.

Unfortunately, when I moved away from Arizona I also moved away from the fabulous sister that does the dishes.  But Relatively Reagan may have saved my pretzels from a caramel-less existence.  She made these cute Thanksgiving pretzels:

and she used the caramel apple wraps.  I am pretty sure you could just use a rolling pin and roll out some regular caramels too, but cleaning up the pot of melted caramel might be easier than that.

What is your favorite dipped pretzel combination?

Pumpkin Pretzels

My Little Gems use this recipe for soft pretzels and added some food coloring to make these cute pumpkin soft pretzels:

If The Boy sees this there will be no getting out of trying to make them.  I can talk him into shopping at the mall all day with me if I promise him a soft pretzel!

Candy Corn Pretzels

I think my sister in law can read my mind.  Last night I was trying to come up with snacks that were yellow, orange, and white.  I am trying to stick with a candy corn colored theme and all I could come up with were goldfish, popcorn, and marshmallows.  Okay, but not great.  (I mean, the 3 year olds would have LOVED them!)

This morning I woke up to an email from my sister-in-law with a link to these:

and these:

And the only thing that could make them better is if someone else were going to make them all for me!

You can check out these fun dipped pretzels over at Baked to Perfection.
