Felt Valentine Gift Bags

Momtastic shared a tutorial for these cute felt gift bags:

You could make a cute mini version for your kiddos to give your friends and the tutorial makes the project look easy enough that you might want to attmept it.

You can get the tutorial HERE.

Valentine Pillows

This picture from Felt So Cute has convinced me that I need a bench in my house that I can decorate with cute pillows for every holiday:

And then I will use her tutorial to make all of these cute pillows for Valentine's Day.

Felt Party Hats

Felt So Cute has a tutorial to make these cute felt party hats:

These same hats could easily be decorated by the kiddos for New Year's Eve.  You can see her tutorial HERE.

Christmas Finger Puppets

Last Christmas my girls got a puppet theater from their grandma for Christmas.  I can't believe I haven't posted about it before.  It is amazing.  And they have such a fun time putting on shows.

I might have to find some time to make these Christmas puppets from Amy at The Idea Room:

Even without a puppet theater these would be fun for the kids to play with, especially on a Christmas road trip!

She also had a great Nativity set too:

Felt Christmas Light Garland

Growing up we always had the large colorful Christmas lights lining our roof.  I loved those lights.  That is probably why I love this felt Christmas light garland I found over ant I Art U:

Until the kids and I can talk my husband into colored lights (he prefers all white lights outside) I will have to settle for looking at these!

Do you like the colored lights or are you an all white light person like my Hubby?

Felt Ball Garland

Jordan Ferney from Oh Happy Day ordered felt balls from Ornamentea (the 2cm size):

and used them to make her own felt ball garland:

I love the rainbow garland.  You could find a reason to keep it up all year!  But you could also make a more traditional green and red one for Christmas.

Homemade Felt Pizza Shop

Erin from Chris, Erin, & Jayce made this super cute pizza shop kit for her little one:

I think this is a super fun idea for a homemade Christmas gift and so much cuter than anything I have seen for sale in a store for kids.  She made everything from the apron and toppings to the pizza box!  You can check it all out HERE.
