DIY Wool Felt Mat from The Crafts Dept

If you do some crafting with wool felt and have some leftover felt scraps, you might want to check out this fun tutorial for a wool felt trivet over at Martha Stewart.  They made this one to look like a tree stump.

If you do a LOT of crafting with wool and have a TON of scraps then you might have enough to make a wool felt mat or rug like this one from The Crafts Dept.

It is almost too pretty to step on.  Maybe you could hang it on the wall instead or at least use it as a table runner of sorts.  Sort of a combination of the mat and trivet.
