Faux Canvas Print
Beckie wanted a canvas print of her family portrait, but she didn't want to fork out the small fortune that they usually cost. So being the crafty lady that she is, she she figured out a way to come up with one on her own:
She printed her photo in a large poster size, and then used Mod Podge and a canvas drop cloth to create a texture on top of the photo:
It looks beautiful and you can learn how to make your own faux canvas print for around $30 dollars over at Infarrantly Creative.

Wood Framed Canvas
Curbly has a tutorial of turning a vintage flag into wall art:
I do not have a vintage flag, but I think the wood frame they built:
Would work really well for displaying a drop cloth canvas art piece too:
Don't you think?

Baseball Canvas
I think I am going to have to steal this idea from Chris at Just a Girl :
The next time we are at a Round Rock Express game I am going to have to find something cool to take a picture of to add to my son's baseball themed room. And right now I can get it printed for free at Canvas People (and you can too).
You can check out the rest of the fabulous baseball room HERE.

Freezer Paper Stenciled Canvases
Pumpkin Pie Crafts made these cute canvases with freezer paper stencils:
When I saw then over at One Pretty Thing I immediately thought of all of the fun, basic Halloween shapes that would make great canvases! Using the same technique you could make a bat and a spider web and a jack-o-lantern and have some great Halloween decorations!
You can see how to make them HERE.
