Ikea Frames for Christmas

Nikki from Dream.Design.Create. took a trip to Ikea and picked up these frames for 99 cents each:

She got the cute print for free over at Becky Higgins website:

You can download it in a bunch of different sizes, or you could use one of the other great free printables that are out there.  And these frames can be easily switched out for any holiday!  I am seeing some really cute Valentine's printables in my future!  And even before that you could buy 4 frames and have each one hold one of the numbers of 2011.  All sparkly and glittery.  But I am getting ahead of myself.

I need to get myself to Ikea (LOVE living 5 miles away!) and see if they have any of these cute frames left!

Wood Framed Canvas

Curbly has a tutorial of turning a vintage flag into wall art:

I do not have a vintage flag, but I think the wood frame they built:

Would work really well for displaying a drop cloth canvas art piece too:

Don't you think?

Alphabet Wall

This is a new take on an Alphabet Wall:

I found it on OhDeeDoh and love it.  Not so much the letters, but the frames.  But I am sure there is a font that I would love!

You can see the other alphabets that I love HERE.

Frame Wreaths

My love of haning frames on the front door as wreaths started back around Christmas time last year with this beautiful one from Blue Cricket:

And continued more recently with this one from High Heels and a Hammer for Fall:

So it is only fitting that we round out the rest of this year with a Halloween version from Organize and Decorate Everything :

She hung Halloween tags in hers:

Just change the ribbon and the tags and you could keep this one up all year long!

Picture Frame Fall Wreath

This Fall wreath from High Heels and A Hammer is picture perfect:
Or at least picture frame perfect.  (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)  But honestly, what a clever and beautiful idea!  And you can find an old frame to spray paint for a lot less then the styrofoam circles that you usually start a crafty wreath with.

Plus this one is square.  I love square!

Frame Collage

Jennifer Rizza from Sanctuary Arts at Home just redecorated her girls room and created a giant frame collage on the wall:

I don't know if it is just because I am a lover of all things white, but this display is one of my all time favorites!  You can check out the rest of the pictures of this room, and see some of the great details, HERE.

Mini Pinecone Frame and Ball

Tracy's Trinkets and Treasures made this cute pinecone frame that I found over at Tatertots and Jello:

And now I must have one.  Hobby Lobby, I will see you tomorrow morning!

If you happen to have some of the little pinecones left over after you make the frame, you can also make a pinecone ball to go with it:

Framed Monogram

I am always a sucker for a beautiful display of frames like this one from Cottage Instincts:

All of these mirrors are gorgeous, but what I love is the monogram in the top left.  I am thinking a monogram letter covered in textured wallpaper and then painted to match the frame.  I like it!  I like it a lot!
