I am in full Valentine's Day swing here, but in the background (also known as real life) I am also in the home buying mode.  So I can't help put share this post with you from Remodelaholics on how to add crown molding to your kitchen cabinets.  How to turn this:

In the Wall Spice Rack

Check out this gorgeous spice rack from Tidits from the Tremaynes:

It is installed right into the kitchen wall (where they cut out a big old whole) and then framed out with some gorgeous molding.

She has used that molding in her house before:

A pretty clever shoe rack if your heels are high enough.

DIY Crown Molding Coat Hanger

Out house doesn't have a coat closet, so I think I am going to need something like this.  I LOVE how long it is!  And the fact that it isn't just functional, but a beautiful place to display pictures!

Of course then I need a cute bench to go with it!
