All You Patriotic Party
I have already posted some of the ideas from this cute patriotic outdoor party from All You, so I thought I would show you the rest of my favorites!
Like the very patriotic ice cream comes made with the help of some melted white chocolate and red, white and blue sprinkles:
The bandana table runner and utensil holder:
And of course the cute hanging stars:
Easily made by folding some scrapbook paper like a fan and then securing the middle with fishing line and the edges with tape. You can get the full directions HERE.
You can check out more of the party ideas HERE and get some great barbecue recipes from All You HERE.

Buckaroo Bandanas
Amber from Sew Totally Smitten (remember the cute halter top from yesterday) threw a buckaroo party for her son with some bandana ideas that I love:
And although I don't have a little buckaroo to throw a party for any time soon, I think the red white and blue bandana look would work well for July 4th. Especially with some watermelon, barbecue, and wide mouth cars to drink lemonade out of instead of cups!

On this Day in 2009: April 18th Edition
I am pretty sure I was ready for summer by this time last year. Lots of fun Bandana party favors:

Bandanas table runner (love the napkin rings too):

I am pretty sure this idea will come in handy since I live in such a huge barbecue place now.
And something I didn't post last year, but would go perfectly with this imaginary bandana barbeque I am having in my head is a bandana pennant. Got the idea after seeing this image from Martha:
But I need to know. Is is spelled Bandana or Bandanna. I have seen it both ways. Martha prefers the double n, but Google seems to think one n is appropriate.

Bandana Apron
I saw this cute Bandana apron on Somewhat Simple:

It is actually an idea from Martha, but you can check out Stephanie's version here.
Very simple and very cute!!

Bandana Party Favors
These party favors (also from Country Living) go right along with the bandanna table runner, but the same idea can be used with any piece of fabric that coordinates with your table decor:
They cut a bandana in fourths, inserted goodies inside, and then tied it with a ribbon. They made the tags by color copying a bandanna and then cutting the copy into tags. Cute and colorful!

Bandana Table Runner
I am so in love with the fun bright colors that are popping up now that summer is right around the corner! ( Less that 30 days until summer vacation...but who is counting!) Like this table runner from Country Living:
Sew colorful (and inexpensive!) bandanna's together to make a bright table runner for summer meals or parties!
And then serve colorful drinks too:
There is a lot of color in our future!!
