Paper Mache Eggs

I was a good girl and waited until March to start bombarding you with Easter and Spring ideas.

I took my husband to Hobby Lobby last night. It was his idea! He had never been and after seeing the clock post he wanted to go and check out supplies. We didn't find anything for that project, but I did almost walk out with a couple jars that I didn't need. They were 50% off and I almost couldn't resist. It didn't help that Hubby kept telling me to get them.

What I did end up with were some cute metal buckets in spring colors (Easter baskets for this year) and some really cute (but way overpriced) glitter eggs. I felt the need to buy them after Toots got her hands on a ceramic ball and tried to bounce it! The very sweet CSM cleaned it up and refused to let us pay for it. I love Hobby Lobby!

So back to the eggs. They will look cute in one of my jars. But I could have easily made some cute eggs for SUPER cheap.

Like these from Glitter and Bliss:

She used newspaper, but you can use tissue paper, or glitter, or about a zillion other things. And you can buy Styrofoam eggs or use some of the plastic eggs you probably have around the house!

Ooohhh...I love this idea! What a great way to recycle newspaper. I'd love to give it a whirl.

Love the eggs, thanks for the idea.
I say, it's never too early for spring decor.

This is a great idea. They would look good lying around any part of the house. Thanks.
