How to make this cute?

I have seen this idea done a bunch of different ways. Remember the post with the hangers?

I need to find a way to implement this in Lou La's room. Lou needs a way to display all of her art. And my poor fridge needs a break. And since Toots has started taking everything OFF the fridge and throwing it on the ground (such a FUN game!) I need a break from picking up all of Lou's art. This picture from ohdeedoh is cute, but I think I only like it because of the creative alphabet. I think I want it to be a little cuter for the girls room.

If you have seen any cute ways to display LARGE amounts of art PLEASE shoot a link to them my way!

Love this idea and I am sure I will need to do something similiar soon. Have you visited The Land of Nod? www.landofnod.com They have ADORABLE art clips on string. There are wooden flowers, birds, etc. You would have to get several sets to hang loads of artwork, but it is a start at least.

If you're feeling crafty, you could always use twine as your string since it is heavy and durable enough and then pick up some of the wooden shapes at Hobby Lobby - they have so many - bugs, flowers, cars, etc. - and you could paint them and then hot glue close pins to the back. You could do this for really inexpensive and make as many clips as you need!

Just a thought! :o) Can't wait to see what you come up with!

I have something from Pottery Barn Kids called their cable art system that I think would work great!

That's very cute! I suppose you can make it more girly by gluing on a little silk flower or crystals or something. Great idea for showing off more artwork! (visiting from SITS)

Ikea has a curtain rod that is a wire that comes with clips. I don't know if that's cute-er or not, but you could always glue silk flowers or something onto the clips.
