Paper Lantern Decorations

Ruffled had a little DIY Contest and they just announced the winners.  First and second place were both beautiful paper lanterns and I wanted to share both of them with you.

This Paper Lace Doily Lantern from Belinda came in second place:

I love doilies and she did a beautiful job decorating a regular paper lantern with them.  It almost looks like a rose bud!

I have seen a million ideas for guests books, but never this one:

I so wish I could do my wedding over again.  But just the wedding.  Not the marriage.  I love the Mr.  and the kiddos.  But my sign in book was not this cool.  And I think I still owe my bridesmaids an apology for the dresses.  And the fact that there were like 3 dozen of them.  But we will start with a better sign in book.
