Save the Date Garlands from Martha Stewart Wedding
I don't know anyone getting married anytime soon, but this save the date garland from Martha Stewart would work as a birthday invitation too. You could use the date, or just the garland idea. You could make it match the theme of your party or just use something generic like balloons or cupcakes.
