Fall Colors

If this collage from Poppytalk doesn't make you excited about Halloween and Fall, then you probably aren't reading this because I scared you away from my blog weeks ago when that is all I started posting about:

You can get the sources to all of the images and check out the links HERE.

My favorite is the first image in the second row:

Someone is living my dream of painting their door orange for Halloween:

Fall Fun from Show and Tell

Here are some of my favorites from Show and Tell Saturday that will last a little longer than the 31st of October.

I think the gorgeous fall colored floral arrangement from Joy is at Home might be the one thing that won't clash with my beige (almost gold) and maroon front door:

We love soup around this house and I am always looking for a new recipe to try.  I am hoping that my kids will like this carrot soup from Petals and Sunshine as much as they like broccoli soup:

Not Just a Housewife shows you how to scratch a pumpkin to create a fun Fall decoration that can last all season long:

Seeing the fall decorations over at Decor Chick is helping to motivate me to dig out my own fall decorations that are still packed up from the move:

And I know my kids would love making these cute little pumpkin people from Then She Made:

If you want to check out the rest of the fun fall finds, you can see them HERE.

Thanksgiving Banner

Parents.com has always been a great resource for kids crafts...but lately they have had some great decorations, especially Fall decorations, that border on down right adult cute!

I love the almost, but now quite a pennant banner:

So cute and VERY festive!

Fall Garland

If, unlike me, you already have you Halloween decorations put away and are ready to move on to your Thanksgiving/Fall Decor, here is a leaf template from Creating Cupcakes to make these fun Fall leaves:

You you can easily turn them into a garland (like she did) or just lay them on the table as part of a centerpiece. Or you can enlarge the template and make them into place mats. There are lots of good uses for a good leaf template.

And now that I have a trick for storing them, why not make more!!
