Jamie from C.R.A.F.T. has a great post up on her blog with some fun last minute Thanksgiving craft ideas.

My two favorites are these cute Thanksgiving t-shirts from Dukes and Duchesses:

I cannot even BEGIN to tell you how badly my youngest needs one of these shirts!  A Little Turkey is the best way to describe her right now!  In the most fun and loving way of course!

Ribbon Turkey Hats

If you have a little girl in your house and you have a little time for a Thanksgiving craft, you might want to check out this super cute turkey hat that A Sprinkle of This and A Dash of That made:

A pom pom and some ribbon and a patient hot glue gun and you can make yourself a cute little turkey hat decoration.

Thanksgiving Crafts

Party Frosting has a ton of cute turkey ideas for your Thanksgiving table, and her post reminded me of all the fun party ideas at Parents.com.

They have these cute felt turkey pops:

Using a plate or bowl, trace an 8-inch circle onto brown felt and cut it out. Fold the circle in half twice to find the center and snip a hole for the stick to go through. Stretch the felt around the sucker, securing it with a rubber band. Fluff and fan out the excess felt, then add crafts foam face pieces and googly eyes to complete the face.

This fun faux pinecone made from an egg carton:

ake an empty cardboard egg carton and cut the carton into 12 individual cups (an adult should do this step). Cut a "V" slit into each side of the cup using the "V" that is already part of the cup as a guide, and gently spread out the pieces like petals of a flower. Paint all the pieces brown, then layer and glue the pieces together. Wrap a rubber band around the bottom of the top piece to keep it closed, then insert a card between the "petals."

And this yarn cornucopia:

First make a mold by covering a 6-inch plastic foam cone with aluminum foil, crumpling excess foil at the tip to make a curved end. Then dip a 3-foot length of brown yarn into a bowl of white glue, removing excess glue between your fingertips, and wind the wet yarn around the cone. Continue wrapping lengths of glue-covered yarn around the cone until covered. Let the cone dry for a few days, then twist the cornucopia off the cone.

So now that Halloween is here it is officially time to start looking forward to Thanksgiving and *gasp* Christmas.  I will take it slow though.  Lets start with some fun Fall themed goodies that were shared for Show and Tell Saturday.

These would be so cute on the table for Thanksgiving!  I bet you could sew some ribbon to the bottom and even use them as napkin rings!  Of you could hang them like ornaments on a little festive branchy tree!

Turkey Hat

I think everyone should be required to wear one of these on Thanksgiving:

Call me crazy, but I think it would take some of the stress out of the holidays. Imagine looking around and seeing your loved ones all wearing these cute turkey hats.

Parents.com has always been a great resource for kids crafts...but lately they have had some great decorations, especially Fall decorations, that border on down right adult cute!
