Our Royal Wedding Watching Party

I had a couple of people over to watch the Royal wedding yesterday and wanted to share some of the pictures that Kristen took.  I highly recommend having a photographer at your party because her pictures make it look cuter than it actually was.

I used the blue and yellow Royal Wedding printables from Hostess with the Mostess and I made blue and yellow crepe paper flowers which were so simple to make

We had scones with a lemon glaze (I will be sharing the recipe on Monday} that Kristen cut into cute flower shapes instead of the traditional triangles.  That way we could easily lose track of how many we ate.  They were yummy.  And of course shortbread, again in fun Royal shapes instead of the traditional triangles.

I am not sure what the English have with triangles and their baked goods.

These English Muffin breakfast cups are so yummy.  The original recipe is from Picky Palate, but I will be sharing how I tweaked them on Monday too.

Is it obvious that parties are a lot about the food for me?

Check back in a bit for what the kids ate!

I didn't have a triangle cookie cutter! I love a party with good food and you did not disappoint!
