Wooden Sign Wall

Day Spring sells these wooden signs:

They were doing a giveaway on The Nester, which is when I realized that these are cute little signs:

But what if you made bigger ones.  And covered your whole wall with them (so that they looked like the first picture).  Maybe just a small wall.  Like in a foyer, or an accent wall in your living room.  And they would be pretty easy to make.

Too much?  What do you think?  (I am trying to channel my inner Funky Junk here.)

I think you are on to something! How fun and textural would that be!?! I mean, you wouldn't do a whole room, but like you said, large piece of wall would be awesome! I'm in!

LOL!! You're funny. Tapping into your inner Funky Junk is the only way I live, so what does that make me?!?

It can be done, but if on a large wall, use a large tone on tone scale. Cool idea! :)

I saw those on Nesting Place too. Fabulous!

I don't think I'd do a whole wall, but I like the framed piece of work. I think it looks like a lot of work and a lot of expense for any more than that...

Hey-- I was wondering if you had an email subscription? I follow your blog in my google reader, but your blog is set that only the first one or two lines come up in the rss feed, and I dont always have time to check out all the blogs I like so I was wondering if you had an email (like feedburner or something?) Thanks!

love it! I was thinking about hanging pallets on the wall at one point (crazy, I know, I've since put it out of my mind), why not a bunch of those signs?

I bet Donna could make pallets look good! And Knock of Wood actually has a tutorial to make a book rack out of pallets! You should check it out!
