Train Party

I have seen pictures of this train party all over, including the original post on The Party Dress:

It is a cute party.  You really can't go wrong with red, white and blue and a dessert table!  But it wasn't until the most recent post that I noticed this:

I love what she did with the cake stand!  Balanced it on the lid with fun paper inside.  And I also love that the cake came from Costco.  (I know because that is the cake the The Boy got for his last birthday!)

The bubbles are really cute too, and what kid doesn't love bubbles?

You can check out the rest of the party HERE.

I like putting different dishes together also to display food. Makes for a more interesting buffet table.

Kim - isn't that clever. I would have thought it would tip over, but it looks like it worked!

Dianna - I totally agree! And I love mismatched in general too!

Kelly Ann, thank you! I am so glad you stopped by to comment.

Tracy, when I was in 7th grade we took a family trip to Washington DC. I bought a button at a souvenir shop that said Be Different, Act Normal and I have loved the phrase ever since! I really wish I still had the button!
