Pretty up some plain terra-cotta pots with paint:
The people at Ladies Home Journal painted regular terra-cotta gardening pots (the really inexpensive kind) with a coat of latex paint and then decorated them by adding designs in dots with a paint pen. Pretty easy and it makes a HUGE difference!

Awesome. Why didn't I think of that?
Great idea and I like how they used the taller pots. I only have the boring regular kind, but if I paint them, they would look 100% better and different. Would be cute to have the kids do some and put a plant in it and give to their teachers for end of the year. Hmmmm. This idea is morphing into others!
PS I tagged you on a post today ;).
Oh! I love that idea for the end of the year present! I am going to have to remember that!!
The pots are so pretty.
Thank you for visiting my blog.
Keep up the great work on yours. It is always an inspiration. Hugs, Bobbi Jo
How cute. Looks like something I could do.
And to answer your question.....yes, my daughter jumped into the pool. It is heated! :)
Those pots are darling, I really need something springy inside my house!
Thanks for the comment! I love your blog. Looking forward to learning some new ideas. Blessings!
I love these. SO fun for Spring!
I love those pots...they are so so cute! I really like the simplicity of them and the fact that you could get creative with what design you put on them. Thanks for sharing!
Hope you've been having a great week!
I really like those!
They look great!
If you want to plant in them, I recommend lining them with a plastic container just the right size. Terra cotta soaks up water and dries out the plants.
