Sarah at Thrifty Decor Chick just redid her pantry. It looks great and she had a TON of great ideas (like having plywood cut to lay over wire shelving!! I may have to use that idea in my sons closet!!)
But my FAVORITE trick that she used in the pantry is this:
You see that cute label. She made one for each of the shelves. She painted a ruler with chalkboard paint (I have about a thousand rulers in my garage and we won't talk about why!!) and then used ribbon to hang it!
I think this would be SUCH a cute way to label where toys go in a playroom! And super cheap!! Or thrifty. Since it is the Thrifty Decor Chick we are talking about!
And remember, you can make your own chalkboard paint!!

I love your blog and your fun ideas! And who knew you could make your own chalkboard paint? Brilliant!
Love that. My pantry needs some organizing.
That is so cute! I second denise, my pantry desperately needs organizing. Well, reorganizing.
Oh that is brilliant!!!! And, I would think that if you didn't have an abundance of rulers you could go to a paint store and get free paint sticks!! :)
Oh how I have missed being able to come here everyday but I knew you would have some good stuff when I arrived!!!! This is such a cute idea!!!!
this is great! I got some chalkboard plaques from pb kids as a gift last year and never had anything to put them on. I'm definatly going to put them up in my pantry now.
