Make and Takes used them to to spell out Love:

and Skip To My Lou made heart suckers with them:

They would make cute decorations if you made big hearts and hung them with red ribbon too!
You bake them in the oven (For the letters they baked at 250 for about 10 minutes, for the lollipops, 300 for 5 minutes so be creative!!) until they are soft and then you can form them into letters. The hearts are just two candy canes in their original candy cane shape, so no forming needed. I like the less melty look, so I am going to stick with the lower temp.
And make sure that you put them on parchment paper or a silicone baking mat so they don't stick to your cookie sheet! That would be a mess!!

Those are great ideas! Thanks for sharing...and thank you for stopping by my blog!
Oh that's a cool idea...but I just tossed out all over our leftover candy canes last week. Bummer!
Oh my gosh - I remember this from when I was little. I can't believe it took seeing them again to remember it with all of the things I do with my kids! I have been pitching leftovers just to keep the candy at a minimum in between holidays. lol. Filing it away under remember! Thanks for stopping by too!
