Do you know why there are two?

For Christmas last year my mother-in-law bought the kids a flannel board with some flannel scripture stories. They love them. We use them for Family Home Evening and Lou especially loves to play with them just for fun.

Today is one of those days. The container of flannel board stories didn't get put away after Family Home Evening last night. She was looking through the pieces when she found two baby Jesus pieces. I am not sure why there are two. One of them might be my sister-in-laws. Erin, are you missing a baby Jesus? They are different though. So maybe we are supposed to have two.

So Lou finds two of them and brings them over to me and says, "Mom, do you know why there are two?"

"No, why are there two?"

"One is Jesus and one is Jesus Christ"

Looks like I know what we will be talking about tonight.

Very cute! Since they are different, maybe one is baby Moses.

I am thiking that she is thinkin that one is Jesus and one is he friend. You know, one just goes by the his full name, the other one, more of a causal thing.
Sometimes, you have just got to laugh-I know that He does-He has too-life is way too short to not giggle ALL the time. So glad that you shared, it made me giggle.
Also-went back and looked at lots of old posts. You are one talented cookie! i love how you ar crafty and mommmy all at the same tiem. Does that make sense? It is 4 in the morning and I can't sleep.
Thanks for stopping by-I love new friends-i will be back!
Have a fantatic day!

It's always interesting to see what children misunderstand when we speak to them from the Scriptures. I teach Sunday school to kindergarteners and sometimes they shock me!

Congrats on being a saucy blog this week!
