What Color are your Dressers?

I love color. LOVE IT!

Like this yellow dresser:

LOVE IT!

And this turquoise one:

BEAUTIFUL! And these bedside tables:

SO CUTE! Especially the pink one! I *heart* the pink one.

So why are all of the dressers in my house wood color?

I think I need therapy. I can never decide WHAT to do so I don't do anything. Do you have that syndrome or is it just me?

So what color are your dressers?

30 Meals

If you ever struggle with what to make for dinner, Nannygoat has a great project on their blog right now called 30 meals. The idea is to find 30 meals that your family loves, write down the recipes so that they are all in the same place, and make an ingredient list for all of your 30 meals so that the shopping is easier. When you are done you have the frame work for a month worth of meals your family will love.

And soon they are going to have a tutorial for this recipe box:

That that hangs on your fridge! Cute! I might have to give this a shot. I need to get back to planning my meals at least a week in advance. Dinnertime is so much less stressful that way.

You may have seen this on UCreate yesterday! I did!

Ben and Jerry's Free Cone Day

Today from 12 - 8pm you can go to your local participating Scoop Shop for Free Cone Day. But be prepared to wait in line for your free scoop! It gets crowded!

Table Topper

I love what BHG did to this table:

They covered the top with fabric, fasten it along the edges with upholstery tacks. Pretty easy and inexpensive. It works to change the look, but is also a good trick if the top has been beat up. You know, if you found it at a garage sale or if you have a daughter that colored on it with red permanent marker.

Picket Fence Headboards Take 2

Back in November I posted about these headboards:

And how I wanted them for the girls room because they would look so cute with this bookshelf:

that their Grandpa Great made them. This one is actually from the Pottery Barn, but ours is identical. But I am too lazy to take pictures. Actually ours is better because it has their names on the side in little wood letters.

So I think the picket fence beds would look so cute on either side of the house.

Well I just found this post where Nikki made this bed for her daughter:

I am thinking this might be a project for me this summer. We don't have the tools at our house, but I have no doubt my Dad has everything I would need. I just might do it!

Now I just have to talk myself into taking Toots out of her crib so that she could sleep in her big girl bed.
