Valentine's Specimen Art
I love specimen art. And it is so easy to make.
Blooming Homestead made this 3-dimensional beaty with some hearts she bought at Hobby Lobby:
I originally thought that it was made with chocolate hearts, which would also be cute.
Embellishing Life used burlap and old book pages to make hers:

And this one I posted about two years ago would be cute with some Valentine's Paper:
I need to get myself a cute frame that I can switch out for each holiday.

Hanging Paper Heart Garland
Pizzazzerie has over a dozen fun garland ideas, all of which are either perfect for Valentine's Day or could easily be modified to be perfect for Valentine's Day.
My favorite is this hanging paper heart garland from How About Orange:
And all you need are the most basic of supplies. Strips of paper, a pencil for curling, some tape, some string and a needle.
I am thinking with a little more tape you could actually make a paper chain with these hearts too. I might have to think about that one.

Paper Bag Pumpkins
I love these paper bag pumpkins from You Craft Me Up:
I think I am going to have to ask for paper bags the next time I am at the grocery store. You can check out her tutorial over on Someday Crafts.

Scrapbook Paper Baskets
Fall is when the official season of baking and treat giving begins and it lasts until the new year. I love to bake, but we always end up eating too much of them. The best way to avoid this is to give them away. If you are like me, than you want to make the presentation cute, but don't want to spend a lot of money on disposable containers or worry about getting your good containers back.
This paper basket from Then She Made is a great way to dress up your goodies to get them out of your house, but won't break your bank or cause you to part with your dishes:
It is made from one sheet of 12x12 paper and some ribbon. Something you might already have around the house, and super easy to customize for any occasion!
You can find the templates for these HERE.
