Pocket Full of Posies Shirt

I know that I have spent too much time with my sister-in-law and her sewing machine when I look through blogs and fall in love with things as if I could actually sew them myself.

Maybe that should be one of my resolutions for 2011...

Not being able to sew didn't keep me from falling in love with this cute pocket full of posies shirt from Shwin and Shwin:

They made the entire shirt, but you could just sew a pocket and some flowers onto an existing shirt.  Notice I said you and now me.

I try to make New Years resolutions I can keep!

If we were still in Arizona I would be dropping hints to my sister in law.  She is the queen of making cute holiday outfits for her girls and if you are lucky and your daughter and her daughter are the best of friends (and cousins) she often throws in a matching outfit for your daughter too!  I am hoping that this skirt from last Christmas will still fit this year.  And I am going to see about getting a ruffler foot for my machine so I can attempt something like that turkey, and then buy a skirt to go with it.
