Scribbled Flower T-shirt
I saw this cute shirt over at 10marifet:
This cute shirt is from a tutorial over at Happy Together that is from 2008. She was inspired to make this shirt after seeing this sweater at Antrhopologie:
I love both the shirt and the sweater and am starting to think that I need to do some digging in the archives of my favorite blogs!!

Ruffled Turkey Shirt
Amy from Positively Splendid mad this cute ruffled turkey shirt for her daughter:
And then she posted a tutorial so you can make one for your little girl HERE.
It would be extra cute with a matching layered skirt like these:
If we were still in Arizona I would be dropping hints to my sister in law. She is the queen of making cute holiday outfits for her girls and if you are lucky and your daughter and her daughter are the best of friends (and cousins) she often throws in a matching outfit for your daughter too! I am hoping that this skirt from last Christmas will still fit this year. And I am going to see about getting a ruffler foot for my machine so I can attempt something like that turkey, and then buy a skirt to go with it.

I have seen a lot of ideas for dressing up an old t-shirt. Usually you are adding a ruffle or some flowers. But this one uses knots:

Bias Skirt
Craft Gossip featured this skirt from No Big Dill:
I am not sure if I should now tell you how clever I think the blog title No Big Dill is or go on one of my rants about how I am going to pretend like I sew.
How about we skip both and I just say that I this skirt is way too cute. If you want to make one for your little girl you can get the tutorial HERE. She even suggests that you use a skirt that you already have and just add the bias strips to it. (That is why it is a bias skirt, all of the layers were cut on the bias. I may only pretend to know how to sew, but I do at least know what that means. Of course I really have only known what that meant for the last year...but still!)
