Valentine Printable Ideas

Beth made this cute Valentine Poster for you on her blog:

And not only does she give you the cute poster, but she gives you a half dozen fun ways to use it.  Tags, treat bags, cards, and my favorite, the candy bar wrapper:

Now that would be a fun valentine for the kids to give at school.  One that would be enjoyed by boys and girls alike!

You can see them all over at It Is What It Is.

Christmas Candy Bar Wrappers

I have been trying to think of some prizes for the class party games we will be playing on Friday.  The decorations and games are all winter themed, and I think I finally found the perfect prize:

I am going to get some full size Hershey bars and decorate them to look like snowmen.  The Santa is really cute, but I think I will keep with the winter theme (and the keep it simple theme) and makes some of the very cute snowman candy bars.

You can see the instructions over at Martha Stewart.

Butterfinger Owl Pops

Confessions of a Cookbook Queen has a tutorial for these cute owl pops on her blog:

They are really cute, but it is what is inside that is really cool:

That is Butterfinger.  But HOMEMADE Butterfinger.  And it is just a combination of peanut butter and candy corn.  Yes.  I said candy corn.  I am sure it has to do with candy corn being mostly corn syrup, but either way it is pretty tricky!

You can find out how to make homemade Butterfingers and these cute owl pops HERE.

Thousand Dollar Bars (aka Homemade Twix)

I am desperately trying to think of a way to make these:

into a Halloween snack.  So that I have an excuse to make them and eat them for the next 31 days!  I am even trying to figure out if shortbread crumbs would be a good topping for a caramel and chocolate covered apple.  Mmmmmm

You can get the recipe for these at King Arthur Flour.

Twix Tart

The name of this post immediately caught my attention.  Twix Tart.  I immediately had to go to Dessert First to check it out.  And this is what I found:

See that yummy looking homemade caramel sauce dripping out of there.  YUM!

Kit Kat Bars

Twix, and Snickers, and Kit Kat's:

Oh My!  (And 3 Musketeers too)

I guess these don't actually taste like a Kit Kat (one of the ingredients is butterscotch), but they LOOK delicious!  I will have to see if I can find a recipe that tastes like a Kit Kat.  Actually, now that I think of it, it is probably better than I don't.  I really can't resist a cold Kit Kat.

The recipe is from Grandma's Desserts, and I found it on C Jane in the Kitchen.

You can always tell when I am cutting sugar out of my diet because I feed the need through posting recipes.  Sorry!

Homemade Snickers Bars

We have had a recipe for Twix and for 3 Muskateers, so why not add Snickers:

My Husband found this recipe on Life Hacker and emailed it to me.  I guess that means he wants me to make some for him.  You can find the full recipe at Instructables.
