Overall Apron

I know that 90% of the women in America have closets full of clothes that they no longer wear anymore.  Clothes that are out of style or the wrong size.  I have been there and I should be happy when I tell you that I cleaned out my closet when we moved to Texas and got rid of most of that stuff.  And I was happy at the time, but now I am not.  Now I remember why I like to keep things.  Because in the clothes that were purged was a pair of beige overalls from ninteen-who-knows-when.  And if I still had them, I would be cutting them up right now to make one of these:

So the lesson for today is, cleaning out your closet will make you happy, but don't give away those overalls!

Santa's Kitchen

I love to have my kids help me in the kitchen when I am baking and that happens a lot this time of year. How cute would it be if I made them wear these cute elf aprons!! And they are still young enough that I think they would think it was cute too!

Fall Aprons

I am always on the lookout for cute aprons. I never wear them, but I should. I mean I REALLY should. I should put one on when I get dressed in the morning and keep it on all day. I have a bad habit of getting stuff all over my clothes. It doesn't matter if I am cooking, eating, crafting or cleaning I am very good at ruining my wardrobe.

These cute Fall aprons from Daisys & Dots won't save my shirts, but if you aren't as messy as I am they might be a fun addition to your Fall cooking couture.

Art Aprons

When I learn how to sew I am so going to make one of these for Lou La! Maybe I will give it a shot before her birthday! This little beauty full of brand new markers, a pair of scissors, and a couple of glue sticks would make her little heart sing!

The idea came from Grace Violet and you can visit her site for the instructions.
