New Year's Eve Cupcakes
If you are going to watch the ball drop in Times Square this New Year's, than you might need to make these cupcakes from Confessions of a Cookbook Queen:
And you could even get away with making just one and surrounding it with regular sprinkled cupcakes!

Champagne Glass Mousse
Another fun New Year's Eve idea using champagne glasses:
These glasses are filled with white chocolate mouse and cute tags from Anders Ruff. You could use pudding or any other creamy treat. You can check out the rest of this New Year's Eve party over on Amy Atlas.

Crescent Jam and Cheese Cookies
I love Smitten Kitchen, so when she says that these crescent jam and cheese cookies are some of the best cookies she has ever made, they have to go on the must try list for 2011:
I am sure if you are having a New Year's Eve party, they would make a pretty yummy party snack. You can get the recipe HERE.

Champagne Glass Cookies
I am not a champagne drinker, but I am a cookie eater, so this idea from The Decorated Cookie is perfect for me:
Instead of bubbles, the champagne flutes are filled with tiny, shimmery cookies. Festive and kid friendly.

New Year's Eve Sparkler Cupcakes
Amanda made these cute cupcakes for New Year's Eve:
I love that the firework design looks like sparklers! You can see a tutorial on how to make the firework and the recipe for those yummy looking chocolate cupcakes over at I Am Baker.

Homemade Fortune Cookies
Alisa Burke made homemade fortune cookies:
And the best part are the homemade fortunes:
They would be fun to personalize for your New Year's Eve guests. You can see her tutorial HERE.

New Year's Brunch
If you aren't up for a late night New Year's Eve party, why not invite everyone over for brunch on New Year's Day:
All You has some great brunch recipes you can use like these baked eggs in bread bowls:
and a citrus and pomegranate salad:
All of the recipes look yummy and won't break the bank, even if you invite a couple dozen people!

Gold S'mores
Gordon Gossip featured these s'mores from Amber Carson Events:
These golden s'mores were part of a New Year's Eve Wedding, but are simple enough to a great treat for your New Year's Eve party. You just need to pick up some gold luster dust.

Midnight Cupcakes
A little late for New Year's Eve (there is always next year) but they would also work for a Cinderella themed party:
Image from AliCakes, found via Cupcakes Take the Cake. If you haven't guessed, I was a little obsessed with cupcakes last night. If you are on a diet for the New Year, I apologize in advance!

2010 Turtles
This candy from Inspiring Ideas is cute, but I don't know if it would last long enough. I am pretty sure that both the 0s would be gone before the guests even got there:
Jeanne is so clever! And if you have more self restraint than I do, you can see the tutorial HERE.

Although this picture is obviously from 2006, the idea would still be cute in 2010!

Bacon Wrapped Cocktail Sausages
After spending the day with packers and eating only pizza all day long yesterday, it is no wonder that all three of my posts today have to do with New Year's Eve goodies!
These bacon wrapped cocktail sausages from Our Best Bites look yummy. But honestly, what wrapped in bacon DOESN'T look yummy!
You can get the recipe HERE, but if you don't have bacon, little sausages and brown sugar in your house RIGHT NOW to make them I would wait. Unless you have time to run to the store as soon as you read it, because you are going to want to!
Mini Hot Ham and Cheese
I posted about these yummy ham and cheese sandwiches last summer (my in laws always serve them at showers) but after finding this picture of them on Beantown Baker I feel like I need some for New Year's Eve too:

They would be really good for a New Year's Eve party...or just to make for yourself. They will make your new year a a happy one!

Petit 2010s
I found these 2010 Petit Fours from I am Baker on Edible Crafts:
She made them with fondant...but I have NO IDEA how she made the fondant silver. I am guessing there is silver food coloring that I am unaware of...I might just have to go and find it!

The look would be really cute on a New Year's cupcake too!
