A couple of years ago I fell in love with a bunch of Christmas ornaments that were just metal cookie cutters, dusted with glitter, and hung with ribbon.
Craftomaniac did something similar in her kitchen for Valentine's Day that I love just as much:
Some big gingham ribbon and a a heart shaped cookie cutter are all you need. The only problem is that I use my heart cookie cutter everyday on Lou La's sandwiches. I might have to find a second heart shaped cookie cutter.

I like that a lot. Wonder if it will stay with the little hands in my house, though. LOL

That is a cute idea! I may do that.
Thanks again hun! smooooch! I have been killing my prego back putting all the Christmas away, cleaning, dusting, and decorating for V-DAY. I drive myself nuts. I have to have every little detail just so. Ughh. Almost done. Thanks for giving this tired mom a nice little surprise. XO JEN
Jen, you put me to shame. I am NOT pregnant and Christmas is still up and I haven't even started decorating for Valentine's Day...although I sure have spent a lot of time in that aisle at Target!!
I was thinking same thing Denise, if the little hands will stay off them. It is a cute idea.
This is really stinkin cute =)

Really cute idea! I love hanging cookie cutters on the Christmas tree but I never really thought about all the different ways to use them as decorations throughout the rest of the year... Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year!
Too cute!
Cute! Never thought to do that on the oven. We hang up Christmas cookie cutters :)
Found two great cookie cutter ideas from the link within! Inspiring! Have you posted the glittered cookie cutter ornaments mentioned above?
