If you have never had a homemade marshmallow than you are missing out. They are about a million times better than the store bought variety. They are about a million times more work too though.

peppermint marshmallows are genius. Have you tried the peppermint Hershey kisses? They are ADDICTING!
I need to make these! Homemade is always the best!
The first time I tried making homemade marshmallows, I thought it would work out just as well to use flavored gelatin (you know, I wanted flavored marshmallows). Well, we ended up with a sticky pink mess. But, my husband always talks about how fun it was as he sat and ate the failed marshmallows with my uncle who has since passed away. :)
