Candy Corn: Garlands, Wreaths, and Ornaments

A couple of weeks ago I was flipping through a magazine (I think it was Woman's Day) and saw a picture of a candy corn garland.  Not one that was sewn or painted, but just regular candy corns strung together.  So I cam home and tried to find it online.  I couldn't find the one I looked for, but I did find this one from Susie Harris:

Fast forward to Show and Tell Saturday and Pickles and Paper shared her candy corn garland:

And just as cute (but a lot less work) are the candy corns hanging from the branches:

I can't wait to find places to hang candy corn!

PS - The magazine I saw the original garland it was this one:

and Jellybean Junkyard will show you how she made a wreath just like it:

I have to say the candy corn was a lot of fun to make. DEFINITELY use the clear spray gloss after! My neighbor did not and hers melted when it was dewy out this morning!

I made a candy corn wreath this weekend and I LOVE it! I just need a big black ribbon to go on it.

Thanks for the advice on the clear spray! I so would have skipped that step!!

And I agree that a black ribbon is the perfect accent!
