Fall Leaves

I saw these Fall leaves from Mega Crafty on Craft:

Her tutorial is actually about using a paper punch to cut polymer clay.  But when I saw those leaves I thought they were made out of fondant.  And they COULD be!  If you kneed different colored fondant together to get the swirled look, you can use a small cookie cutter to cut out the leaves.

I am actually curious if you could use a paper punch, but am pretty sure they aren't food safe.

That is cool! I never would have thought to use a stamp on clay or fondant. Love that!

The cookie cutter/fondant combo is going to make it soooo much easier to make my husband's birthday cake next month! Thanks for the idea!

Thanks for the link to my project- I've been wondering the same thing about fondant (and was also curious if they'd be food safe- probably not).
