DIY Magnet Board

These balls from The Brassy Apple started out as burner covers for a stove:


She painted them and hung them in her sons room.  And because they are metal, you can use them as magnet boards too.

Even if you don't have a sports themed room, you could use the same idea.  Even if they were just polka dots for a girls room.  And you could even attach something to the top for a stem and have yourself a pumpkin message board for the fall!

very clever :) I love the idea of using old stuff you already have laying around...although i'm not sure i would have saved my stove burners :)

Jamie, I think they even sell sets of two at the dollar store. They are super inexpensive, so even if someone didn't have one around, they are easy to come by, especially ugly ones that need a cute paint job! ;D

yup! that's right! I didn't have any on hand so I got mine at the $1 store in the 2 pack! :)
