Bias Skirt

Craft Gossip featured this skirt from No Big Dill:

I am not sure if I should now tell you how clever I think the blog title No Big Dill is or go on one of my rants about how I am going to pretend like I sew.

How about we skip both and I just say that I this skirt is way too cute.  If you want to make one for your little girl you can get the tutorial HERE.  She even suggests that you use a skirt that you already have and just add the bias strips to it.  (That is why it is a bias skirt, all of the layers were cut on the bias.  I may only pretend to know how to sew, but I do at least know what that means.  Of course I really have only known what that meant for the last year...but still!)

Doesn't look like that would take a lot of sewing skills- you can do it! You just need to pick and existing skirt that's really plain jane and sew those babies on in almost straight lines!

Beautiful project- she is clever!

I think so too. I know my daughter would love it. I am not sure my hips could pull off the a line though. :P
