Thanksgiving Countdown

Amie posted this fun Thanksgiving countdown on her blog, Life with the Boys:

Inside the jar are slips of paper that list things that you are thankful for and activities that go along with it. For example, one slip of paper says I am Thankful for My Dad. And on the day you pull it out you have to do something nice for your Dad. If you pull out I am Thankful for seasons , you go for a walk outside as a family and enjoy nature.

What a fun activity as a family to come up with the things you are thankful for and then you get to continue the fun every day until Thanksgiving.

I love the Thanksgiving countdown idea! I have my boys at home with me today so we may just make our own jar and start our Thanksgiving countdown!! :)

We do one of these too. My kids love pulling out a new slip every morning. Its a good way to remind them what we are thankful for ~ and to spend some time together as a family!
