Chicken Alfredo Pot Pie

I love when my sister-in-law posts on her blog. It makes less work for me because I can just steal her post and use it as my own. She never posts anything that I don't LOVE!

But this post I was actually WAITING for! We stayed at her cabin over Labor Day weekend, and when we got there Friday night she had dinner waiting for us! I LOVE HER! And not only was it dinner, it was this:

Chicken Alfredo Pot Pie! It was so good! Just look at the yummy goodness inside:

What you need:

4 cups chopped cooked chicken
4 cups Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers (from two 12 oz. bags)
1 jar (16 oz) Alfredo pasta sauce
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated garlic butter crescent rolls

What you do:

In a large saucepan, heat cooked chicken, thawed vegetables, pasta sauce and milk over medium heat. Stir occasionally until thoroughly heated. Pour into a 9 X 13 Pyrex and cover the top with crescent triangles and then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until rolls are golden brown.

I loved the Green Giant Steamers because they were really good and still crisp. Sometimes steamed veggies get a little soggy, especially in a pot pie. But these were PERFECT! If you like pot pies you need to try this one.

And go and tell Erin hello!
