The first thing I thought of when I saw this post on Joy's blog was this image from Pottery Barn:

Oh how I *heart* vintage keys. I want them to hang on my wall. I figure I better start collecting if I am going to get a collection as big as Joy's. But maybe not. Joy found hers at a thrift store. In the kids toy section. What? Yeah, you heard that right. They used to look like this:

Joy worked her magic on this set of plastic play keys. LOVE IT! Now I have to start digging through old toys to see what treasures I can find.

Oh! My 3-year-old has those! (I think they were from her kid's meal at Sonic at few months ago.) I never imagined they could look like that!
Of course that would be the one kids meal toy we didn't bring home! How could I have missed those. I might have to call Sonic!
What a great idea!
Yep, they came out of a kids meal. Got them too!
Thanks so much for linking to me!!!!
I'm so glad I came to visit because you've given me an idea of what to do with those keys! You've gotta love PB inspiration.
Now I'm hoping to find some more of those kids meal keys.
