Chalkboard Clipboard

This idea from Rosemary Travale that I saw on Apartment Therapy MIGHT just be my favorite chalkboard idea ever.

I know I probably have said that before. But this one takes the cake.

Really!

It is brilliant!

Are you ready to see it?

Are you sure?

Okay.

Here you go:
So that your kids (or you) can do this:

over and over again!

You could make the other side all black, or a tic tac toe game, or a ton of other things! With summer coming up it is a great way to keep little ones busy. We might be taking a 13 hour road trip with our three kids. (yes, we are crazy) And if I do you can bet that they will each have a new chalkboard clipboard for the car. Because if the trip doesn't kill us the chalk inhalation will!

Very cute! That would be a wonderful thing to have for kiddos on a road trip or even a gift for the first day of school. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Lovin this idea too. And... about the fondant, you assume too much. Like that I know what ingredients go into making fondant. Never assume too much. Clearly I need to come out for a visit so I can learn to make fondant!!!!

this is so clever! I think for older kids you could even leave the hair off so they can draw their own and make it a girl or boy how fun
