You boil eggs until almost hard in water tinted with dye. Remove eggs; tap them with a spoon. Drop additional dye over the cracks to stain them further. Boil eggs again until hard.
Now if only I had a beautiful transferware tea set to go with the eggs! Maybe I can find some in paper!

So pretty! Thanks for stopping by my blog, and for the kind words!
I actually do have transferware! AND, I'm putting it on Craigs list soon. Oh well, while this really is a beautiful picture, I never use mine and I need the cabinet space.
Hi Lorie! I'm visiting all of my followers today to inform you all that I have 2 new giveaways on my blog! You could win a Custom, Handstamped Silver Necklace (winner chooses which one!)...or...2 Fork Easels w/ Recipe Cards! :) If you've already entered - thanks!
