Inside Your Cupboard Doors Take 2

Remember this post about using the storage space inside your cupboard doors.

Here is another great idea from BHG:

There is the chalkboard (which actually I don't like in the picture...chalk in your pantry...eek!) but I LOVE the peg board on the top. I actually use pegboard in an armoire to store my crafty stuff. LOVE IT! You can buy it (and the accessories to use with it) at most home improvement stores. I bought mine at Home Depot.

I am trying to find a way to turn my junk drawer into a junk door!

I've seen photos like this before and if you look closely, it never actually seems like the cupboard door wouldn't be able to shut, at least not easily. Most of the time I have stuff in my cupboards all the way to the edge of the shelves, so if I put something on my doors it would have to be completely flat.

You're right, an odd place for a chalkboard, but I love the pegboard!

I need to send you a photo of our pantry. We really increased the space by adding wire shelves on the back of the door and on one of the side walls.

Reborn,

It definitely wouldn't work if you have the cupboard full, but I have a few cupboards (like the one I store paper goods in) that have just enough space for something like this. I think it depends a lout on how deep your cupboards are too. Pantry cupboards are usually deeper than the upper cabinets of your kitchen. (The bottom cabinets are usually deeper too.)

I love the pegboard idea! I really want pegboard everywhere - it's so cute! I think I am going to paint some chalkboard paint on the outside of my pantry door for fun in the next week. I hope it turns out!
