Egg Masks [Decorating Easter Eggs]

I am loving all of the cute Easter egg ideas that are popping up now that St. Patrick's Day is over and people are jumping feet first into their Spring decor!

So I got this clever idea to find 12 great Easter egg ideas and put them all in one post. Then I would title the post A Dozen Eggs. Cute right? Then I realized how long that post would be. Not cute. So I will stick to posting them one at a time and when I am done I will post a link to all of them. I will put it up right before Easter so you can find all of the ideas easily and I will title THAT post A Dozen Eggs. Or two dozen if I have that many!

I love the whole sticker resist idea from yesterday. So I went looking and found this clever idea from Lolly Chops. And by clever I mean really clever!  She created this fun decorated Easter eggs using a masking technique.

Even more fun is the fact that she made the masks herself using some painters tape and a punch.

If you don't own any craft punches I bet you know someone that does. And if you are really nice to them I bet they will lend them to you! And if you let your 5 year old daughter use them to decorate Easter Eggs I bet she will think you are the coolest mom ever! At least I know mine will!

You can check out the entire tutorial on how to make your own masks for dying Easter eggs over at Lolly Chops.

Hmm. I'm thinking Cricut and contact paper...

Whoa. My kids are lucky if we even dye Easter eggs. Sometimes I just buy wooden ones and they paint them.

I'm lazy.
