Clover Cookie Cutter

I have a LOT of cookie cutters. Not as many as my mom, but a LOT! But I don't have a clover shaped cookie cutter! I know! The horror! But that isn't going to keep me from making clover shaped things Tomorrow.

For the sandwiches I will just use hearts. I will just out four and lay them in a clover pattern.

And for the cookies, I will use this recipe from BHG:

You roll the dough into logs, then roll it in sugar crystals and chill. When it is ready you slice it and lay it in a clover shape. No shamrock cookie cutter needed!

So clever! Although I love to make cookie cutter cookies and have a lot of clover shapes, I may have to try this idea!

I am ashamed to say I only have like 3 cookie cutters.

I don't have a shamrock cookie cutter either, so I've been improvising too. These are some good ideas.

I was all through the streets of NY and NJ looking for a clover cookie cutter! No "lucky clover" for me. Hmmrph.

I do have a clover cookie cutter and used it last night to press out over 50 cookies for my playgroup this morning. But, they tried to spread and fluff out in the first few batches so they don't look as cute as these!
