A Work of Chalkboard Art

I know I have posted a TON of chalkboard projects in the life of this blog. And I know I JUST posted one yesterday. But I think this one is my ALL TIME FAVORITE!!

Carina from Ohdeedoh turned this:

into this:

She painted a large piece of white board with chalkboard paint and used some acrylic paint on an old frame, attached it with a staple gun and created the prettiest chalkboard I have ever seen!

And I think it would be fun to do a couple of them...three of them...in different colored frames and hang them in a row.

Thank you for sharing that!!! I have everything in the house to do something like that!
Another note...a friend of mine made one and hit the hardware store for a small piece of wood trim or you can get a raingutter, etc and fit it underneath to catch the chalk dust and also hold the chalk and eraser.

That looks great. I love Sarah's response about the raingutter also!

They are so easy! I did one on my blog as well. I just painted right over the "ugly art" and it works like a charm! Try it Lori, so easy!

Oh, I think I just have to do that for the playroom! My grandkids would love it--if they don't eat the chalk.

If I ever get it done I'll post it on my blog!
