Framing Mirrors

Rhoda at Southern Hospitality posted a tutorial on framing mirrors.

She took a regular square mirror over the bathroom vanity, the same plain old mirrors that I have in my bathrooms, and she turned them into this:

All I can say is I am SO DOING THIS!!!

You can check out her tutorial here.

Framing our bathroom mirrors is on our project list as well. Ours are oval and I hate them. I want them to be framed and square.

Shellie, they are handy and not too expensive, but if you are using the corner pieces and only have to cut a straight cut, you won't need it (you can fix any imperfections with putty).

Lowe's has all the pieces especially made for mirrors. Just saw a little section there the other day. We're doing ours too!

I saw this a while ago and it is SO on my to-do list. But I think it's number 23, so it might take a while to get to. Thanks for the reminder!

Thanks for checking out my blog! The bead board project really is quite easy. The painting is the hardest part. Good luck with your daughter's room!
I love the mirror framing idea! I think that will be the finishing touch in my daughter's bathroom as I hate the plain old builder's mirrors.

Love that! I have those mirrors in my old house that still hasn't sold. That might be a weekend project.
