Coasters

My friend lbug emailed me a link to these:

DIY Maven used ceramic tiles and napkins with a little decoupage to create these cute coasters. I was going to blog about them, but completely forgot! And then I saw this on Kari's blog:

It is from the same tutorial! But seeing them together made me think of these:

And now my love for the mismatched is going to have me searching for cute napkins to make coasters with!

Love these! Thanks, as always, for the inspiration. You always make me feel as if I can do these things. And I usually can!

I love the coasters (and plates!) I've stamped on tiles to make coasters and gave them as c-mas gifts.

Thanks for your nice comments! About the glass, I got that from my mother, and she probably got it at either a garage sale or a thrift store. Those places are usually brimming with that kind of thing! :)

Cathy, you could so do this! But if you have never used decoupage before be careful, it is addicting! You will want to decoupage EVERYTHING in site!!

That is so cute. It reminds me of when I was little. My grandmother was super crafty, and she ran off with all of the fancy napkins and cards in order to create something wonderful for us.

Kimm, there are typically three posts a day! I know it is crazy, but I feel like if I give three a day then there is a little something for everyone everyday!

Heaven forbid you come here and think, ah! I don't really like anything! ;D
