Stain Busters

Stain removal must be the new trend for 2009!

My sister-in-law posted this little stain removal cheat sheet that she found on Martha's site:

You can download it here and print off one for your laundry room.

I then found that Good Housekeeping has an alphabetical list for stain removal techniques on their website. You can check it out here.

What is your magic stain removal technique?

It's not a technique I personally use, but throwing it in the trash and buying new would work well. Too bad I'm not made of money. :(

Thanks! I have read that the sun is a great natural stain remover..especially for those cloth diapers. I'm going to try it on mine and see how well it works.

Thanks for the list. I am horrible at figuring out how to get stains out. I usually just spray some stuff on the stains and hope they magically disappear. Can you tell I hate laundry?

Your blog is so cute! I hope you don't mind if I follow along?

Have a great day!

Hello, Lorie, and thanks for the comment! I know what you mean; I never watch American Idol all the way through, just the last couple of episodes. And this stain remover list was a great idea!

My stain removal is Fels Naptha. A wonder stain remover in a bar of soap. It gets out grease and chocolate. Use it along with Spray n Wash with oxyclean and there's no stain that can stay around.

I don't have any tricks but if I can get to a spill on the carpet with my SpotBot (Bissell), I know I'm going to get rid of it. It even got rid of stuff from the previous owner that had been there for I don't know how long!
